Growing up in Northern Minnesota, I always looked forward to picking daises in the summertime. My grandma and I would dye them with food coloring, changing their leaves to pastel shades of blue, pink, and purple. Daisies just seem like a summertime staple, and I can’t wait to share these daisy wedding ideas with you!
The 411 on Daisies As A Wedding Flower
We here at The Northbound love the idea of incorporating this humble flower into a casual summer wedding! Daisies symbolize innocence and purity, and we think they’re quite sweet and romantic as well (anyone play the “He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not” game as a kid?!).
Season: summer to early fall
Best For: casual weddings, simple weddings, country or rustic chic
Scent: none to faint
Bonus points? You could probably even pick a wild batch of daisies for your big day yourself! Does it get any sweeter than that?

Yellow Wedding Bouquet With Daisies (And Succulents!)
We’re such a big fan of succulents around here (the hard-to-kill thing is a huge bonus…), so we absolutely adore this daisy wedding idea! This lovely bouquet perfect blends a variety of flowers, and the succulents provide a neutral touch to keep the bouquet from being too “in your face.”
