If we had one word to describe this wedding, it’s timeless. It is the perfect example of fresh and modern, but still remains classic at the same time. The wedding brings in fresh trends, like mismatched bridesmaids dresses, but never feels over the top. And we love the natural touches, like the use of birch and greens on the table! The venue complimented the vibe perfectly; we’re swooning over the clean lines and exposed brick Mercantile Hall in Burlington, Wisconsin has to offer.

From the photographer: “The soft sunlight that poured in through industrial sized windows and rough, brick walls contrasted elegantly with the lush greenery and golden candlelight that flickered on the tables. The introduction of nature into the venue made the space feel like a private oasis worlds away from the busy Main St. just outside.”
The bride and groom are college sweethearts: they met in a study group. And they have a super cute engagement story: after a few years of dating, KJ set up a scavenger hunt where, at the end, Leah found KJ down on one knee with a ring in his hand.

Before seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, KJ & Leah exchanged emotional letters.

We love that smile!
