We give major props to any couple who chooses a winter wedding in the Wisconsin, and that’s exactly what Nicole and Danny did. Instead of waiting until May, they moved their big day to January. It totally paid off! The couple was rewarded with a beautiful snowy day and a stunning winter sunset. The ceremony was held at a small local church with intimate and festive vibes: a rare treasure in today’s busy world!
This beautiful wedding goes to show that there’s nothing more cozy than a winter wedding! The blankets of snow and plaid details are so completely festive.

Barefoot bridesmaids in the snow…it doesn’t get any braver than this!

Deep red bridesmaid dresses are so perfect for a winter wedding. A plaid scarf serves multiple purposes: not only is it incredibly stylish, it helps keep in the warmth!
And also…how cute is this pup?!

A Church Wedding in Rural Wisconsin
St. Mary’s – Big River is located in a small farming community less than an hour away from the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Located on top of a hill, this Wisconsin church overlooks fields and valleys. It was founded nearly 150 years ago and has certainly withstood the test of time. Some families have multiple generations that belong to the church. What a charming place to say “I do!”

After the ceremony, the wedding party had a fun commute to Kilkarney Hills, the reception location. You can’t beat a box of White Claw, amirite?

At the reception, the bride, groom, and guests had such a fun time cutting a rug on the dance floor! The perfect close to an extremely perfect day! ❤️
