In 2018, celestial bridal style was one of the biggest trends, and we absolutely couldn’t get enough.
As lovers of all things astronomy and astrology (hey baby, what’s your sign?), we are BEYOND over the moon for starry wedding dresses. And, lucky for us, there’s lots to choose from!

Our Favorite Starry Wedding Dresses
We had so much fun curating this list of starry wedding dresses! Most of the celestial gowns out there are very modern, making use of sheer fabric and sexy silhouettes, but we were able to find a few more modest options, too.

Starry Dress by BoomBlush
This unique wedding dress by BoomBlush is very lightweight, ideal for a beach wedding. The bodice is covered in stars, which glow and sparkle in the evening light.
BoomBlush’s dresses have a similar feel to other popular designers like Rue de Seine and Galya Lahav, but they are more affordable. They also let you make changes to this design, so if you want to change up the shape of the bodice, add shoulder veils, go strapless, or make the skirt fully lined, they can do it!

Moonlight Magic Collection by Rue de Seine
Rue de Seine’s Moonlight Magic collection came out in 2018. The Indigo Star dress is one of our favorites from that collection!
Although no longer shown on the Rue de Seine website, this dress may still be available from retailers who sell Rue de Seine gowns, or via a used wedding gown service.

Lucky Star Glitter Gown
We love this gown so much (and apparently, so does everyone else — it’s currently out of stock in this color). It has a similar look-and-feel as other dresses on this list, but at $169, it’s a fraction of the price.
This is another sheer, low cut dress. We think it would be perfect for a beach wedding or intimate elopement.
** Unfortunately, this dress sold out soon after publishing this post. As of October 2019, it is still available in rose gold. You might also want to try your luck finding it over at Poshmark!
